That was Lilies major milestone #1, and this is how it looked last October...
And last night i completed Lilies major milestone #2, ahem, well some more threads to trouble those perfectionist eyes, but still:
Come Monday, you will see the spectacular lilies in their journey so far as i will remove the light blue cover that sits atop #1 and also get those threads of #2 out of the way
So i slept just after midnight last night, and Toto woke me up about 4AM. He was awake (his usual getting up time is after 6), and obviously felt hungry, as he requested for Dosa, which thankfully was our breakfast item to-come-three-hours-later... So we went to the kitchen, with the'rule' that he sits on the sofa, while i make the dosa, and with another 'rule' that he will be silent... Uh-huh, the moment i was out his field of vision, he calls Mamma - i came back, and whispered to him that he is to sit and i will get his dosa for him, he says a sing-song okay, and again the moment i was out of his field of vision, he tells me he is coming to me, and does so as he is telling me:) so i carry him... I was using a smaller pan, so you should imagine dosas about 7 to 8 inches diameter. The first dosa always does not come out right (correct?) so he had half the first dosa, and almost the whole of the second dosa - all this seasoned with quite-high-volume baby talk.

And then off to sleep...
Book-wise, I have finished two-thirds of the Julie/Julia book i am currently reading- i was loving it, and then an over-charged me wiki'd Julie Powell and read about Cleaving: Marriage etc... Ok, i am still enjoying the J/J book, but i know what is to happen later right? I dont like that one bit. Better news probably is that J/J is my 27th read of 2010. Cool for a working mother, who only stitches while at home, and reads while commuting? Right? Pls make me happy;-)
